What This Group Is
The Dublin Chapter is a professional referral network. Members build trust over time,
listen for real opportunities to help each other, and follow through quickly and professionally.
One Professional per Category
We limit membership to one seat per category so referrals are clear and protected—no internal competition
for the same type of client.
What a Good Referral Looks Like
A good referral is:
- Relevant to the member’s category and ideal client
- Warm: the person expects (or welcomes) the introduction
- Specific: clear need, timeframe, and context
- Timely: shared quickly while it’s still actionable
A referral is not:
- A cold list of names or “call anyone who…”
- A mass email blast or spammy outreach
- A vague “keep me in mind” with no trigger
- A pressure tactic (“tell them they need to…”)
“Listen-Fors” (This Is the Secret Sauce)
Each member shares practical “listen-fors”—real life phrases or situations that signal an opportunity.
This makes referrals natural because you’re listening for triggers, not forcing networking.
Example listen-fors:
- “We’re thinking about moving next year…”
- “Our business is growing and we need help with…”
- “We got a letter from the IRS / attorney / insurance…”
- “Our website isn’t converting…”
Follow-Through Expectations
The value of the chapter lives in follow-through. Members are expected to:
- Respond quickly to introductions
- Respect the relationship (no aggressive sales pressure)
- Provide a clear status update to the referring member
- Protect trust and represent the chapter professionally
